Woohoo! I signed papers yesterday morning and just got the phone call this morning letting me know my loan funded. I now own a HOUSE! The seller is renting back from me for my mortgage amount through the 15th of October, when I'll get the keys. Due to that rent amount, I'm actually buying this house for a net of no money out of my account initially. (of course it's all wrapped up into the loan, but I pulled this off without having a huge savings that I had to deplete!).
