This is video with me using my waterproof case and jumping off the waterfall! :)
The blog won't post the video, but send me your www.hello.com username and I can send you a copy.

Here's the waterfall we jumped off of a few times... Posted by Hello

Ssssh...John here is going to sneak over with his dead bat removal tool and see what kind of reaction we can get from Brian. Watch closely! :) Posted by Hello

The first group shot...from the left: Myself, John, Russell, Brian Posted by Hello

We found this dead bat behind John's bunk. That reminds me, I had almost forgotten about the bat that kept flying in and out of the common area of camp where we went to watch the superbowl. It was coming pretty close to people's heads... Posted by Hello

The entrance and path to the rachos at the surf camp. Plenty of shade, but allows for a nice breeze... Posted by Hello

Rancho #3 at mal pais surf camp
the next day.

We took another shuttle from the ferry, crossed more hills, and finally arrived in Mal Pais. I didn't think to take many pictures at this point. I spent the afternoon shopping for a surfboard and making the purchase. I wound up moving from the random bed I was going to have to the rancho with the guys from NC/SC. We headed over to the actual Hotel Volcanos around the corner and got our breakfast. Then we took off in our shuttle headed for Mal Pais. Posted by Hello

This would have been a good night to have a set of earplugs, something every traveller should carry... Posted by Hello

I got into San Jose and was taken to an overflow room around the corner from the Hotel. Another guy, Russell, was also going to the surf camp and staying in the overflow that night. It was an interesting little 3 room setup. I started taking pictures when I woke up the next morning... Posted by Hello

February 4th started the trip with catching the Max train to the airport wearing jeans, hooded sweatshirt, and knit hat. 4am was chilly in Portland. I had a 5 hour layover in Houston and finally arrived in San Jose, CR at around 9pm... Posted by Hello

Costa Rica Trip

Here goes, I think the easiest way to do this is probably to use picture commentary to tell everyone about my trip, so that's the route I'm going to take. I might have to intersperse more commentary, but we'll see...

Costa Rica Pictures

The quick upload of all of my Costa Rica photos can be found here:
http://www.traveladdict.info/costa_rica_album/index.html

I also have the full resolution versions that I can send to anyone who wants to hop onto the hello program and emails me their username. These will be at a minimum 1024x768, many are higher res (2272x1704) and make great desktops or large prints for framing if you'd like.
